Quick Start, a simple checklist:

Practice Kit (Required for ALL JAH Players)
- Navy blue practice jersey
- Black practice shorts
- Black socks
Competitive Program Players
In addition to the practice kit, all competitive players must have the complete game uniform sets:
Home Uniform: Away Uniform:
- Striped home jersey - Orange away competitive jersey
- Black competitive shorts - White shorts
- Black socks - White socks
Non-Competitive Program:
Players Non-Competitive players are only required to purchase the practice kit:
Navy blue practice jersey; Black practice shorts; Black socks
Goalkeepers:
Goalkeepers need both the practice kit and the goalkeeper game kit:
Practice kit (navy blue jersey, black shorts, black socks)
Games:
Complete goalkeeper kit (green/lime goalkeeper uniform)

COMMUNICATION
PlayMetrics is the official communication platform for Juventus Academy Houston. All parents are expected to download the app and enable notifications, as it is the primary way we share important information throughout the season.
Through PlayMetrics, you can:

Important: Please make sure your email address is up to date and that push notifications are enabled so you don't miss important updates.
WEATHER POLICY
Houston weather can be unpredictable, so our staff continuously monitors conditions to ensure the safety of our players and coaches.

Practice cancellations will be communicated by 4:00 PM whenever possible.

We will cancel training only when conditions are unsafe, including lightning storms expected within 10 miles of the field and lasting more than 20 minutes.

If a practice is canceled, we will make every effort to schedule a make-up session when possible, based on field availability.

Lightning During Practice:
If lightning is detected during training, practice will be paused immediately. We will wait 10 minutes and continue monitoring conditions. If lightning remains nearby, we will wait an additional 10 minutes. If conditions do not improve, practice will be canceled for the remainder of the session.
ARRIVAL, PICK-UP & PARENT SIDELINE EXPECTATIONS

Arrive 10–15 minutes before the scheduled training session to allow players enough time to prepare.

Players should be fully ready when practice begins.

Parents or guardians must pick up players immediately after training ends. Coaches are only responsible for player supervision during scheduled training times.

Cheer and encourage all players in a positive and respectful manner.

Allow coaches to coach. Please avoid providing instructions from the sidelines, as this can be confusing for players.

Always show respect to referees, opponents, coaches, and fellow spectators.

Celebrate effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship over the final result. Positive support helps create the best environment for every player's development.
